About the Client
Ssanjha Space is a participatory arts and cultural wellbeing initiative founded by Sukriti Sharma, a cultural producer and creative facilitator working across India and the UK. The practice sits at the intersection of arts, community engagement, and cultural policy, creating inclusive spaces for collective reflection and making. Rooted in South Asian and SWANA traditions of storytelling, it brings these into conversation with contemporary social issues and diasporic life.
The Project
Created a participatory arts platform for cultural wellbeing initiatives, featuring newsletter system, events management, writings collection, and resource library. Built with care-centred design principles.
Case Study
The Challenge
Sukriti Sharma needed a digital home for Ssanjha Space that could authentically represent her participatory arts practice. The platform needed to share her work, writings, and upcoming gatherings while building a community through a newsletter.
The design had to reflect the warmth, care, and groundedness of her practice—avoiding cold corporate aesthetics while maintaining professionalism. It needed to feel like an invitation rather than a sales pitch.

Public-Facing Site

Admin CMS
A purpose-built admin CMS enables Sukriti to:
- Manage projects, writings, and gatherings independently
- Send newsletters to subscribers
- Upload and organise media
- Edit all site content with rich text editing

The Results
Ssanjha Space now has a digital presence that truly reflects Sukriti's practice. The warm, inviting design creates an immediate sense of welcome, while the CMS gives her complete independence to evolve the site as her work grows.
The platform successfully bridges the gap between digital efficiency and the human-centered nature of her arts practice.
